This is what dreams look like
CBN is about books, but we also hope that the children we work with are inspired to dream their own dreams and set their sights high. Many of our facilitators are, in their own lives, examples of doing just that. Here is a picture of what it looks like when a dream comes true. The young man in the picture is Michael Buwa and the full story of his dream can be read on:
Many people worked to help him make his dream to fly come true. Now we can start working on his next dream … to learn and learn and learn.

The workshop that Michael attended was sponsored and encouraged by a group of dedicated librarians, and one drama teacher from Skelleftea, Rose-Marie Lindfors, Gunilla Brinck, Maria Nordenback, Anna Hallgren and Synneva Byrkjeland.
The workshops were sponsored by SIDA – the Swedish aid agency and Swedish Arts and Culture. They remembered his dream and when a plan to fly a 1935 De Havilland 60 Moth biplane to South Africa came up, they asked if we could find Michael.
