A spectacular end to the year!

We ended off the year on a complete high note with participation from talented Zimbabwean musician Terry Tekura and his colleague Edward Schmidt – on 10th December.
Our children absolutely love music, they love listening to it, participating in it – and dancing to it. They did all three in the company of Terry and Edward who generously gave a whole morning to inspiring and entertaining a group of enthusiastic facilitators and children. We all had a complete blast and ended off the year with joy in our hearts and music in our ears.
It was also the occasion for gifts – for the children there were donated copies of Book Dash books to take home with them (or, in some cases, read on the spot). For the people who make the workshops possible – the adults who give so much time and thought to workshops, there were commemorative ‘Dancing Child’ medals made by local bead workers.
