2 Phumla Gqoboka: Web Management
The website you are looking at has a fairly complex and very time-consuming structure that makes it work. Hundreds of pictures, dozens of articles – the Facebook and Twitter accounts – all of this requires dedicated, steady work to make it happen.
Phumla has been with us since the beginning of the year and has gradually taken the reins that drive the process, She is also invaluable in a workshop situation, as the pictures with this article show.
With a degree in web design and journalism from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (and proud graduation photographs in April to show for it), Phumla was introduced to us a as somebody to watch. She lives in Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay and cheerfully makes the difficult commute by taxi to wherever workshops and meetings might be. We are lucky to have her.
